A great job once more James! I've been wondering though. How are you doing? Because I haven't seen new videos for sometime now....I hope everything is okay with you.
Thanks
I really am learning from you sir
Pete used his J-200 for years!
Two men are fishing on a riverbank when they see a funeral procession passing by. One of the men stands up, takes off his hat, and bows. "That was a very nice thing to do," says the second man. "Well," sniffles the first, "We were married for 25 years."
Good job😊
nice
Thank you very much!
Came for the guitar stayed for the licks 💋
Very accomplished!!!
Fantastic
Dude that was awesome, I got this album when it first came out and my brother and I cranked it all the time, brings back memories, I lost my brother to cancer in 95, and every time I hear this song I think of him, and being a guitar player, I'm surprised I haven't learned this sooner, thanks James, keep rockin 🤘
I think this is the best lesson and way of playing this song!
One of those tracks that stay with you for your entire lifetime. Nicely done.
Maaaa wisss meee..
Lead solo (coming out of second chorus with prelude bridge) at 2:47
Very helpful, thanks James! Friendly question -- any chance your tune is slightly off in this video? My tuner says I'm spot-on Eb Standard but your video sounds slightly sharp of that to me. Cheers, thanks again!
Just another blatant sign as to the mastery of Mick Taylor!!! Too bad he didn't get enough credit from the Glitter Twins..he also got seduced into a nasty heroin habit by Keith.
Krásné, díky... ❤❤❤❤❤🇨🇿
Good job, Brother
i've greatly enjoyed the JJ and PT posts for many years and I've learned a great deal from them. In my opinion, JJ and PT covered most of the greatest songs ever produced. There's not much our friend didn't cover. Give him a rest and just enjoy all that is out there. What a great gift!
let me know if this guy still is alive
wonderful song
Really great song. And a great album. Love it.
Excellent lesson, Muchos gracias!
I think the one part of the chorus going up I believe might be an E,E5/G#,A,B,A and so forth… but not E to Aflat minor and so on…..
Sounds great!!!
Bravo James..you nail it 🫵🤟
645 Titus Avenue. Hop on down.
Coooool
He's thinking of checking in. I can just tell.
the song is writen by bo didley, btw....
This is the best guitar lesson I've ever heard like rollings tones. Thanks for sharing just subscribe today. I'll try to play it on my guitar only a beginner. 👍🙏🇵🇭🥰
I really wish you would come back. You are very good. Go private
You put the perfect feel and attitude into your playing. Tone sounds just like the record🏁
James Honeyman-Scott signed my guitar right before he died. He was in Austin visiting his girlfriend Peggy Sue Fender and hanging out with Joe King Carrasco. Joe had a gig at Club Foot two days after he did the Austin City Limits TV taping. At the end of the set, James jumped on stage and did four encore songs with Joe and his band the Crowns. I didn’t recognize him at first, but when we were backstage and he and Joe were signing my guitar, I was speechless and thanked him profusely. He had a heart condition and shouldn’t have been doing all that coke. RIP James🥲
What a dude James James was
HI JAMES , DUDE YOU ARE THE BEST FOR LONG TIME 😊
Good job cheers
This helped me immensely. I could not figure out how to strum to the song and the frequent chord changes were hard. All I had to do was watch your video and I totally get it now! Thank you
Great Lesson. I’ve always played an A7 instead of an A major. I think A7 sounds correct but I love your channel. Your a great musician
Best played version on here! Great job! Such a powerful and great song! Ronnie and Rod! 🎶
I tried to play guitar when I was a kid, but my fingers wouldn't fit into all those little places. 🤪
Awesome.
This is so good. Wish you would come back even if just for one video.
Davey was such a unique guitarist.
Your guitar sounds amazing
Thanks for mailing this video
Yes please, and come back to us on RUclips!!!
Hope your shoulders are healing well James. Sorry this has happened😥 I know the feeling of having one, but not two! 😮
